Algerian athletes have continued their strong performance at the Mediterranean Games, adding four new medals to their collection and bringing the nation's total to 26. Among the recent successes, Celia Haikane secured a gold medal in the karate kumite 50kg category. This victory marked a significant achievement, with Haikane successfully defending her Mediterranean Games title by defeating Italy's Erminia Perfetto.

Further enhancing Algeria's presence on the podium, Anis Chout earned a silver medal in the 1500m athletics race, demonstrating competitive prowess on the track.
