Walis Oversee Damage Assessment in Affected Regions

Algerian Walis continue their direct engagement across regions impacted by recent wildfires, actively implementing the directives issued by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. These presidential instructions specifically focus on ensuring comprehensive care for individuals affected by the forest fires and providing timely compensation for the damages they have sustained. This ongoing executive oversight underscores a commitment to direct government action in disaster recovery.
These field visits and activities are also conducted in line with guidelines from the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Mr. Said Sayoud. His directives emphasize the importance of on-site monitoring and direct supervision of operations dedicated to enumerating and assessing the incurred damages. Furthermore, these guidelines stress the necessity of actively listening to the concerns voiced by citizens in the affected areas.
During these visits, the Walis have been directly overseeing the work of the specialized committees tasked with damage assessment and enumeration. They have also engaged in direct meetings with affected citizens, attentively listening to their preoccupations and needs. These actions reflect a commitment to ensuring a precise follow-up of all operations and delivering optimal support to those affected within the shortest possible timeframe.
