Bougal: Algeria’s Future is Promising

The President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Bougal, affirmed that Algeria’s future is promising, thanks to the significant strides made under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

In his speech on Sunday, during the closing of the 2023/2024 parliamentary session, Bougal stated, “Algeria has made great strides under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and we are optimistic about a bright future due to the profound transformations occurring in the country.”

Bougal highlighted that updating and improving the legal system is central to the work of the National People’s Assembly, urging all deputies to double their efforts to complete the program.

He provided some statistics regarding the Assembly’s work during the 2023/2024 parliamentary session, saying, “Our Assembly organized 12 parliamentary days, 17 training sessions to develop parliamentary capacities, and conducted 46 investigative missions to various regions.”

The President of the National People’s Assembly emphasized that “this session was filled with activities both domestically and internationally, confirming the deputies’ readiness to support President Tebboune in implementing his program to build the new Algeria.”

In this context, Bougal called for strong participation in the presidential elections, considering it an opportunity to reflect the will of the people and continue the path of development.

He added, “We are experiencing an important phase of democracy to establish the culture of a state of institutions, and we will exercise this right in the journey of stability and construction.”
