President Tebboune Chairs Meeting to Review Progress of Major Structural Projects
President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a working meeting on Tuesday devoted to reviewing the progress achieved in Algeria’s major structural projects, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
The meeting provided an opportunity to assess the implementation of projects considered important to the country’s economic and social development. It also formed part of the presidency’s continued monitoring of major public investment programmes and their progress on the ground.
Structural projects play a central role in strengthening national infrastructure, improving public services and supporting balanced development across Algeria’s different regions. Their implementation is also expected to contribute to economic activity, create employment opportunities and improve conditions for investment.
President Tebboune has repeatedly emphasized the importance of closely monitoring strategic projects and ensuring that they are completed in accordance with established schedules and required quality standards.
The working meeting reflects the Algerian state’s commitment to accelerating the completion of major development programmes and addressing any administrative, technical or operational obstacles that could delay their implementation.
Such meetings also allow the country’s highest authorities to evaluate the pace of work, coordinate the efforts of the relevant government departments and ensure that public resources are used effectively.
