Under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria is dedicated to African collective action for conflict prevention and resolution, aiming for economic development by embracing the principle of African solutions to African problems, stated Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf.

In a speech delivered by Abdelhamid Ahmed Khodja, the ministry’s Inspector General, during the opening of the international conference on the Algerian revolution with its African dimensions, Attaf emphasized Algeria’s loyalty to its African roots. This commitment is reflected in Algeria’s unwavering support for just causes across the continent, defending them at all levels to achieve comprehensive and integrated development. The aim is to elevate Africa to a prominent position globally, with the collective efforts of all Africans.

The minister highlighted Algeria’s deep sense of loyalty, particularly towards those who supported its revolution. This sentiment is especially championed by President Tebboune, who prioritizes the memory of the Algerian people’s struggle, showing immense gratitude towards Africa and other global supporters of the Algerian cause.

Attaf noted that the Algerian revolution’s global resonance was due to its humanitarian values, advocating for noble ideals shared by all nations, such as the right to life, the rejection of racism, and the right of peoples to self-determination.

He stressed the importance of supporting the Sahrawi people’s struggle, the last African colony, urging all free people worldwide to aid in their quest for self-determination. Only then can Africa close the final chapter of its colonial history and unjust exploitation.
