Djebli, Belakt Partner for Infant Milk Production in Algeria

The Algerian Djebli Group and Belarusian company Belakt have formalized a protocol of agreement, marking a step towards establishing a joint company dedicated to infant milk production within Algeria. This partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of information between the two entities, preparing the groundwork for the future joint venture. The agreement was signed in Algiers on Tuesday, signaling a collaborative effort in industrial development.

The signing ceremony featured Samah Lahoulou, President and Director General of the Djebli Group, and Lubik Vitali, General Director of Belakt. Executives from both the Algerian group and the Belarusian company were present during the event, alongside a representative from the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture. This gathering underscores the significance of the project, which continues ongoing discussions between the parties to realize the infant milk production initiative and develop an action plan for the upcoming joint company.

This collaboration is a key development for local manufacturing and enhances Algeria's capabilities in food production. The Belarusian delegation utilized the opportunity during their visit to assess the quality and diversity of products offered by the Djebli Group.
