Investment Projects Accelerate in Relizane’s Sidi Khattab Zone

Relizane's Sidi Khattab industrial zone is witnessing increased activity as several investment projects prepare to commence operations. Governor Kamal Barkane recently conducted a field visit to monitor progress, support investors, and accelerate the entry of these projects into the production phase. This oversight is part of ongoing efforts to ensure suitable conditions for attracting industrial investments.

Among the projects inspected was the "SARL Plaque Art" factory, specializing in cold plating of stainless steel and the production of pipes and sheets. This facility is currently undergoing technical testing, with full operation expected in the coming days, adhering to international standards. Additionally, the Governor reviewed the "Abroka" enterprise project for paper recycling and manufacturing, which is also nearing service. This project is significant for both its economic and environmental benefits, capable of processing approximately 36,000 tons of paper and cardboard annually, integrating these materials into the economy, and creating direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Concurrent with project implementation, development work is ongoing within the industrial zone. This includes infrastructure enhancements involving public works, industry, environment, energy and mines, irrigation, Sonelgaz, and Telecom Algeria. These efforts are crucial for providing prepared industrial land and accommodating new investment projects. The overall objective of these initiatives is to strengthen the local industrial fabric, boost national production, generate wealth, create jobs, and increase the industrial sector's contribution to the local economy.
