Public Security Reinforced by New Anti-Gang Initiative
The Algerian government has formally adopted a national strategy for the period 2026-2029 dedicated to preventing and combating neighborhood gangs. This significant decision, made during a government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Seifi Gharib, underscores the nation's commitment to enhancing public security and protecting its citizens. The strategy, presented by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, aims to safeguard Algerian families, maintain public order, and ensure widespread public tranquility.
