Algiers Condemns Mecca Drone Attack, Supports Saudi Arabia

Algeria has strongly condemned a hostile drone attack targeting the holy city of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing the assault as a grave act of aggression. According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, this action impacts Muslim holy sites worldwide, constitutes a flagrant provocation, and a gross violation of the sanctity of the Holy House of God.
In response to these attacks, the Ministry affirmed Algeria's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support in efforts to safeguard Muslim holy sites, ensure its security, and preserve its territorial integrity and national sovereignty. Algeria further reiterated its support for all measures Saudi Arabia deems appropriate to guarantee its security, stability, and sovereignty.
In this context, Algeria renewed its call for an immediate cessation of such attacks and an end to all forms of escalation and provocation in the region. The Ministry warned that the continuation of these actions could further complicate and exacerbate the situation, potentially leading to serious and difficult repercussions for the security and stability of the region.
