Digitalization High Commission Trains Officials on National Platform Use

The High Commission for Digitalization recently organized a training session for information systems officials within the digital sector. This initiative directly implements directives issued by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during a Council of Ministers meeting. The President's instructions specifically called for expanding the areas of use for the national digital government services platform and enhancing inter-sectoral connectivity across the administration.

Further to directives from the Prime Minister, new mechanisms are being introduced to empower administrative bodies under ministerial oversight to verify and directly approve electronic documents. This measure is designed to eliminate the need for citizens to repeatedly re-extract documents from the original issuing administrations whenever such procedures require it, thereby streamlining interactions with public services.

These new procedures are set to contribute significantly to simplifying administrative processes and reducing the need for citizens to travel for official matters. The move also reinforces the reliance on electronic documents across various transactions, aligning with the broader digital transformation efforts underway in the Algerian administration. This specialized operation by the High Commission for Digitalization continues the development of a comprehensive digital system, enhancing the use of electronic documents in administrative dealings and progressing towards the full digitalization of services nationwide.
