Tebboune Orders Secure Digital Interconnection Plan for State Institutions

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has directed the preparation of a presidential decree for a secure digital interconnection plan spanning public institutions. This significant order was issued during a Council of Ministers meeting, underscoring the government's commitment to modernizing state administration and strengthening communication security. The initiative is a concrete step towards establishing a unified and protected digital infrastructure across various state bodies.
The upcoming decree will specifically outline the framework for this secure digital link, defining the precise missions of the sectoral institutions and organizations involved. It will also specify the representation and relevant sectors that will operate under the direct supervision of the High Commissioner for Digitization, ensuring a coordinated and effective implementation of the plan. This centralized oversight aims to streamline the digital transformation process.
Furthermore, President Tebboune mandated that this digital interconnection be extended to cover all wilayas. This expansion is designed to facilitate the seamless recording and circulation of local data, thereby improving administrative efficiency at the provincial level. A primary objective of this comprehensive digital strategy is to ensure the maximum protection and security of citizens' data, reinforcing trust in public services and digital governance.
