Bank of Algeria Regulation Introduces Factoring Activity

A regulation from the Bank of Algeria, published in Official Gazette No. 67, officially introduces factoring activity to the Algerian market. This new framework establishes the conditions for the exercise of this financing technique within the national financial sector.
Factoring is defined as a short-term financing method specifically designed to enhance corporate liquidity and provide an alternative for managing cash flow.
Through this new mechanism, businesses operating in Algeria will now have the ability to transfer their receivables to a bank, facilitating immediate access to funds and improving their overall financial management and stability.
