Five Algerian Companies Display Stone in Italy

Algeria is actively participating in the 60th edition of the Marmomac International Exhibition for marble and natural stones, held in Verona, Italy, from September 22 to 25. Five national economic companies, specializing in the production and transformation of marble and natural stones, are representing the country at this significant event. The Algerian delegation also includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, the Algerian Federation of Minerals and Stone Industry, and the Algerian Consul in Milan, underscoring the collaborative effort to showcase the nation's capabilities.

This participation is deemed particularly important, as indicated by a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. It offers direct opportunities for Algerian enterprises to engage with international stakeholders, conduct business meetings, and highlight their production and processing capacities. These interactions are crucial for supporting the companies' expansion into external markets and enhancing the presence of Algerian products within global value chains.

The initiative aligns with Algeria's renewed strategy to broaden its non-hydrocarbon export base.
