Post-Fire Aid Reaches Nearly 390 Algerian Students
Global mobility platform inDrive, in partnership with the WinNelka association, has launched an initiative to provide essential school supplies to students in Algeria affected by recent forest fires. This collaborative effort focuses on supporting nearly 390 children and their families, ensuring they have the necessary resources as they commence the new academic year. The project involves distributing comprehensive school kits tailored to various educational levels, from primary school through to high school.
The targeted distribution addresses the specific needs of students across different grades within the fire-affected communes. Approximately 74 kits are designated for students in the first and second years of primary school, with 75 kits allocated for third-year students. An additional 68 kits will support fourth and fifth-year primary students, while 83 kits are prepared for middle school pupils and 90 for high school students. This detailed approach aims to ensure that each student receives appropriate materials for their studies.
Beyond the provision of materials, the initiative also encompasses the conditioning, quality control, logistical coordination, and transport of these school kits, guaranteeing their efficient delivery to the communities in need. Wail Almamma, General Manager of inDrive in Algeria, stated that supporting communities extends beyond facilitating travel, highlighting the significant impact of concrete aid during challenging periods. He expressed the company's satisfaction in assisting children affected by forest fires to begin the new school year with the supplies required for their education and development. This initiative underscores inDrive's broader commitment to local communities and its dedication to delivering tangible assistance across Algeria.
