Constantine: “Cirta Short Film Days” to Be Organized Soon

“Cirta Short Film Days” will soon be organized in Constantine, according to the “Ibdaa” Association, the organizing body behind the event, as announced on Wednesday.

Hamza Kach, the president of the association, explained that the event is open to all Algerian directors and producers. He highlighted that its primary goal is to promote national cinema by encouraging investment in the cultural sector.

The registration period for “Cirta Short Film Days” remains open until September 20. Kach emphasized that the event also aims to enhance training for young talents in filmmaking, stressing its importance in promoting Constantine as a cultural destination.

The program includes workshops on cinema professions, as well as conferences discussing the cultural, social, and economic significance of cinema.

Additionally, musical activities will showcase Algerian heritage, particularly Constantine’s rich cultural traditions. The event is organized by the local art and youth association “Ibdaa” in collaboration with the local Directorate of Youth and Sports.

“Cirta Short Film Days” will also serve as a platform to promote short films produced between 2022 and 2024.
