Israeli occupation forces arrested 35 Palestinians from the West Bank on Thursday. This latest wave of arrests highlights the ongoing oppression faced by Palestinians under occupation.

According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, the detainees included a woman, a journalist, and a cancer patient, as well as several former prisoners who had recently been released. Among the detained was Jamal Al-Hindi, who had previously spent 22 years in Israeli prisons.

The arrests were concentrated in Qalqilya, with others reported in the areas of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jenin, Nablus, and occupied Jerusalem.

Since the start of the ongoing extermination war on October 7, 2023, more than 10,700 Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank alone. This figure includes those arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, or those forced to surrender under duress, as well as hostages, excluding those from Gaza, who are estimated to be in the thousands.
