On Wednesday, U.S. President Joe Biden stated that he does not support an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear sites in response to the recent Iranian missile strike.
Biden also mentioned that further sanctions would be imposed on Iran and that he would soon be speaking with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel has vowed to retaliate against the Iranian attack, with Netanyahu declaring that Iran had made a “grave mistake.”
This latest attack marks the second direct strike by Iran on Israel, following an earlier missile and drone assault in April, which came in response to a deadly Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
