The Secretary General of the High Commission for Amazighity, Si El Hachemi Assad, announced on Wednesday that the 2025 official celebrations for the Amazigh New Year will be held in the province of Timimoun.

During a visit to the In Salah province, Si El Hachemi revealed that the Presidency of the Republic has chosen Timimoun to host the national and official festivities for the Amazigh New Year, marking the year 2975 in the Amazigh calendar.
