Algiers – The Government of Guatemala has approved the appointment of Jamal Maktoufi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Guatemala, with residence in Mexico City, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
