Algerian Judoka Aïdoun Racha Riham Wins Bronze at 2024 ISF Gymnasiade in Bahrain

Saïda, October 27, 2024 – Algerian judoka Aïdoun Racha Riham from Saïda province clinched the bronze medal in the under-44 kg category during the International School Sport Federation (ISF) Gymnasiade, currently being held in Bahrain from October 22 to 30.

According to Samir Bennour, president of the provincial school sports association, the young athlete, who studies at Mouadhene Bouziane High School in Saïda, secured third place after defeating her Chinese opponent, Che Te-Chen, in Saturday’s match.

Algeria is participating in this global event with a delegation of 67 athletes competing across various disciplines, including judo, karate-do, and athletics.

The 2024 ISF Gymnasiade in Bahrain features over 4,500 students from 82 countries, marking a vibrant showcase of youth talent from around the world.
