Beirut – Lebanon’s Ministry of Health has reported a rise in casualties due to ongoing Israeli attacks, with the death toll now reaching 3,013 and 13,553 people injured since the aggression began in October of the previous year.

In an official statement on Tuesday, the ministry revealed that recent airstrikes by Israeli forces on Monday alone resulted in 11 deaths and 61 injuries. These latest attacks have contributed to the grim statistics as the conflict continues to intensify, now impacting areas beyond Southern Lebanon and reaching the capital, Beirut.

Escalation of Conflict and Widespread Displacement

The Israeli offensive against Lebanon, initially limited to select regions, has escalated significantly since late September. This surge in both aerial and artillery bombardments has led to severe destruction and mass displacement, with over one million Lebanese civilians forced to abandon their homes due to the increasing threat.
