Gaza – Palestinian medical sources reported on Sunday a sharp increase in the death toll in Gaza, with 43,603 confirmed fatalities, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.
The latest reports also indicate a steep rise in injuries, with 102,929 people wounded. Thousands are still feared trapped beneath the rubble, with rescue teams struggling to reach them.
In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli forces have reportedly committed three new massacres, resulting in 51 more Palestinian deaths and 164 injuries, underscoring the humanitarian crisis facing the region.
A previous death toll count cited 43,552 fatalities and 102,765 injuries since the beginning of the assault in October of last year.
