Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call on Sunday from his U.S. counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, according to a statement issued by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, Secretary Blinken conveyed President Joe Biden’s congratulations to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on his re-election for a second term.
