Algerian Second Amateur League (Central-West): Raed El Kouba and NA Hussein Dey Settle for Home Draws

Algiers – Raed El Kouba (RC Kouba) and NA Hussein Dey (NAHD) suffered disappointing home draws in their respective matches on Tuesday during the rescheduled eighth round of the Algerian Second Amateur Football League (Central-West group).

At the Martyr Belhadad Stadium in Kouba, the home team failed to capitalize on a critical opportunity to secure three points, ending their match against ASM Oran in a goalless draw. RC Kouba, currently third in the standings with 17 points, remains five points behind the table leader, Najm Ben Aknoun (22 points). ASM Oran, with 16 points, is six points adrift of the top.

The match ended dramatically, with three red cards issued in stoppage time. The referee sent off one RC Kouba player in the 93rd minute and two ASM Oran players in the 94th and 97th minutes.

At the 20 August 1955 Stadium in Algiers, NA Hussein Dey and JS El Biar drew 1-1. NAHD’s early 10th-minute goal was countered by JS El Biar in the 32nd minute. The draw leaves NAHD in 14th place with just nine points, placing them at risk of relegation to the Inter-Regional Division. On the other hand, JS El Biar climbed to joint fourth place alongside GC Mascara and ASM Oran, with each team accumulating 16 points.
