Algeria Strongly Welcomes ICC Arrest Warrants Against Israeli Officials

Algiers – Algeria has expressed strong support for the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) issuance of arrest warrants against two Israeli officials accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. This significant development was announced in a statement from Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad on Thursday.

The ministry’s statement emphasized that this measure aligns with Algeria’s consistent calls, particularly from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for holding the Israeli occupation accountable. The warrants represent “an important milestone and tangible progress toward ending decades of impunity for the Israeli occupiers who continue to commit heinous crimes against the Palestinian people and the broader region.” ICC
