
Algiers – Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rebika, received the Secretary-General of the National Organization of Mujahideen, Hamza Al-Aoufi, along with members of its national secretariat, in a meeting held on Thursday in Algiers. This was announced in a statement by the ministry.
The statement highlighted that during the meeting, Minister Rebika commended President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s unwavering dedication to honoring the sacrifices of the Mujahideen (veterans) and preserving the legacy of the martyrs of Algeria’s liberation. He emphasized the president’s commitment to providing comprehensive social care for veteran fathers, mothers, and widows of martyrs, as well as to fostering loyalty to the values and heritage of those who sacrificed for the nation’s independence.

Minister Rebika assured that efforts to implement programs supporting veterans and their families will persist as a testament to Algeria’s commitment to upholding the covenant with its national heroes. This meeting served to reinforce the government’s dedication to preserving the memory of Algeria’s struggle for freedom and to addressing the needs of those who contributed to its liberation.
