Algeria – The Ministry of National Education announced on Sunday that the registration period for the 2025 cycle of Middle School and Baccalaureate exams will commence on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 8:00 AM and will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
According to the ministry’s statement, this process applies to all students in public and private educational institutions, their guardians, and independent candidates. Registrations will be conducted entirely online, eliminating the need for paper-based submissions.
Registration Process for Middle School and Baccalaureate Exams
The ministry clarified that candidates must complete an electronic registration form available through the Ministry’s digital platform or the websites of the National Office of Examinations and Competitions. For middle school exam registrations, candidates should visit https://bem.onec.dz, while baccalaureate candidates should use https://bac.onec.dz.
For Enrolled Students:
Students enrolled in educational institutions will be registered via the Ministry of Education’s digital system. School directors will oversee the registration of eligible students. Each student will receive a personal account (username and password) for managing their registration details, making payments, and accessing exam-related services. Parents can obtain this account information through the Parent Portal at https://awlyaa.education.dz or by contacting their child’s school administration.
For Independent Candidates:
Independent candidates are responsible for creating their own accounts directly on the National Office of Examinations and Competitions websites. These accounts will allow them to manage all registration-related procedures, including payment, verification of information, and access to exam results.
Payment of Registration Fees
The Ministry emphasized that all registration fees must be paid exclusively via Algeria Post’s electronic payment service, using the “Gold Card” system. Payments should be processed through the following platforms:
- For Enrolled Students: https://epay.education.dz
- For Independent Candidates: https://bem.onec.dz or https://bac.onec.dz
The payment portal is secure and linked to the candidate’s unique account credentials.

The Ministry’s comprehensive digital registration system aims to simplify the process for all participants. Through their personal accounts, candidates can track their registrations, make necessary corrections, download admission forms, and later, view their exam results.
