
On Thursday, November 28, 2024, in a notable gesture of camaraderie, the President of the Algerian Senate, Mr. Saleh Ghoujil, welcomed a group of members from the Algerian Foundation for Former Parliamentarians at the Senate headquarters in Algiers. The delegation, led by Mr. Abdelkrim Abidat, President of the Foundation, was visiting as part of a courtesy call, according to a statement released by the Algerian Senate.
During the meeting, the President of the Foundation briefed Mr. Ghoujil on the organization’s internal regulations, its goals, as well as the structure and requirements for membership. The Algerian Foundation for Former Parliamentarians was established in accordance with Law No. 12-06, enacted on January 12, 2012, which governs the formation of associations in Algeria.
