Inaugural Philharmonic Orchestra Concert Held with Presidential Presence

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune was present at the inaugural artistic performance of the International Philharmonic Orchestra of Algeria, which took place Saturday evening at the Boualem Bessaih Opera House. This significant cultural event coincided with the commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the Glorious Liberation Revolution.

The official establishment of the International Philharmonic Orchestra of Algeria was announced last Thursday. Its formation was a direct result of a decision by President Tebboune during a prior Council of Ministers meeting, underscoring a commitment to bolstering the nation's artistic and cultural landscape.

Comprising 70 musicians under the leadership of Maestro Amin Gouider, the orchestra's creation reflects a strategic direction to support artistic and cultural endeavors. This initiative aims to reinforce the role of culture in preserving national identity, foster the development of cultural production, and showcase Algerian artistic talents, thereby enhancing Algerian art's presence on both regional and international stages. The orchestra operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Arts.
