Beirut – On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement declared on November 27, destroying homes and advancing into towns in southern Lebanon.
Field reports indicated that the Israeli army detonated several houses in the towns of Yaroun and Kfar Kila, while also firing bursts of machine guns near the areas of Naqoura and Alma Al-Shaab.
Additionally, two tanks and other military vehicles infiltrated the outskirts of Al-Qantara, and three tanks advanced into the southern neighborhoods of Al-Taybeh, firing machine guns and grenades during the incursion. This attack caused the burning of four homes.
It is noteworthy that Israeli forces remain stationed in over 30 Lebanese border villages and towns, despite the ceasefire agreement stipulating their withdrawal within 60 days of its announcement.
