Algiers – The National People’s Assembly will organize a study day tomorrow, Tuesday, titled “The Algerian Approach to Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime: Experience, Achievements, and Challenges”, as part of the commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of Victory Day (March 19, 1962), according to a statement issued by the Assembly on Monday.
The same source explained that this study day is being held under the patronage of the President of the Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim Boughali, who will deliver an opening speech on the occasion. This will be followed by a presentation from the Vice President of the Assembly, Mr. Saadi Mohelbi, titled “The Role and Sacrifice of the National People’s Army and Security Agencies in Combating Terrorism.” Additionally, two presentations will be delivered by representatives from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Justice.
This event highlights Algeria’s efforts and achievements in addressing terrorism and organized crime while reflecting on the nation’s historical journey since its hard-fought victory in 1962.
