President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call today from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, who congratulated him and the Algerian people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing Algeria continued prosperity and well-being, according to a presidency statement.
In response, President Tebboune congratulated his Turkish counterpart, wishing the Turkish people further progress and prosperity. The two leaders agreed to meet soon to co-chair the High-Level Committee between their countries.
They also expressed hope for a swift resolution to the Palestinian people’s plight, enduring unprecedented acts of genocide, per the same source.
