Algiers – On Wednesday evening, May 14, 2025, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune returned to Algeria, arriving from Ljubljana after a three-day state visit to the Republic of Slovenia at the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart, Nataša Pirc Musar.
Upon arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, the President was welcomed by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, and the Director of the Presidential Cabinet, Boualem Boualem.
The presidential aircraft was escorted by fighter jets from the Air Forces of the People’s National Army upon entering Algerian airspace.
