Algiers – On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Director General of National Security, Ali Badaoui, received the Mauritanian Ambassador to Algeria, Sidi Mohamed Abdellahi, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the police forces of the two countries, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security.
The statement noted that “within the framework of Algerian-Mauritanian bilateral police cooperation, Mr. Badaoui welcomed Ambassador Mohamed Abdellahi at the headquarters of the General Directorate of National Security. The two parties discussed ways to enhance areas of cooperation and partnership between the police forces of both countries, as well as supporting coordination mechanisms, particularly in the fields of training, professional development, and forensic science.”
