The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a stark warning to the international community about the grave consequences of the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation government, which continues to escalate its brutal violations with deliberate disregard for international and humanitarian laws.
The League drew attention to the “shocking” official announcement that the city of Gaza has entered a state of famine, as confirmed by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report.
A Serious Threat to Peace and Humanity
In a statement released by the MWL Secretariat General, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa—Secretary General of the League and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars—stressed that “this extremist government poses a grave threat to the Palestinian people in particular, and to the region and the international community at large. It stands as the greatest obstacle to all efforts aimed at halting the war, protecting civilians, and achieving the just, comprehensive, and lasting peace that the region desperately seeks.”
Urgent Call to Action
Dr. Al-Issa renewed the League’s urgent appeal to the international community to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities by taking swift and decisive action to put an end to the famine and the ongoing genocide being perpetrated against the people of Gaza.
He called for firm measures to deter the war machine of the occupation government, which continues to commit atrocities while showing utter contempt for the lives, rights, and dignity of the Palestinian people.
