Algiers – On Saturday evening, August 30, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Badari, convened a meeting, both in person and virtually, with ministry officials, heads of regional conferences, the president of the University Profession Ethics Council, and several professors specialized in educational pedagogy, according to a report by Sabaq Press.
During the meeting, a project was prepared to evaluate pedagogical documents and lessons published on university platforms.
The ministry announced the approval of the formation of a national pedagogical committee tasked with improving digital education.
The committee’s responsibilities include “establishing a quality label for digital pedagogical documents, standardizing the cognitive objectives of these documents, and continuously improving their content.”
Additionally, the committee will work on “developing mechanisms for periodic evaluation of their quality and impact on students, while enhancing the international visibility of Algerian universities.”
