Algiers – On Friday, September 5, 2025, the activities of the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) continued at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center and the Palais des Expositions in Algiers, following its inauguration on Thursday by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a report by *aps.dz*. The second day of the fair features several events, including African Diaspora Day, the Summit of African Investment Promotion Agencies, and a ministerial roundtable titled “Intra-African Trade: From Vision to Reality.” The fair will also see the launch of the Africa Trade and Investment Forum (September 5–7), the African Automotive Show (September 5–10), and the African Creativity Forum “KANEX” (September 5–10). In parallel, the trade exhibition and bilateral business meetings will continue, alongside the African Research and Innovation Hub and the African Union’s Startup Program. On Thursday, President Tebboune inaugurated the fourth edition of the IATF 2025, expressing Algeria’s pride in hosting this continental event and affirming that “Algeria will be an active player in addressing the challenge of development in Africa.” Algeria is hosting the fourth edition of the IATF from September 4 to 10, 2025, with participation from delegations representing 140 countries and over 2,000 companies from Africa and beyond, including approximately 200 Algerian enterprises. The event is expected to attract around 35,000 professional visitors and facilitate the signing of trade and investment agreements exceeding $44 billion in value.
