Algiers – Algerian Olympic gymnastics champion Kaylia Nemour will participate in three major international competitions by the end of 2025, embarking on a competitive schedule that places her back in the global spotlight and reflects her ambition to further her tally of titles and achievements at the highest level, according to a report by aps.dz on September 9, 2025.
Nemour will kick off her journey on September 13, 2025, by competing in the French Championships in Paris, one of the prestigious stops on the global gymnastics calendar. She will then travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the 2025 World Gymnastics Championships, scheduled from October 19 to 25, which is considered the most significant event of the year.
Shortly after, the Algerian star will head to the United States to participate in the Women’s World Sports Championships in California from October 28 to November 2, marking three consecutive global challenges.
The 18-year-old Nemour, who won gold in the uneven bars at the Paris 2024 Olympics, will compete under the guidance of her coach, Nadia Massi, following intensive preparations over recent months. She aims to maintain her position among the world’s gymnastics elite.
Gymnastics experts have noted that Nemour’s participation in these competitions is far from ceremonial. Her primary goal is to assert her dominance, particularly on her preferred apparatus, the uneven bars, and to open a new chapter of brilliance in the name of Algerian sports.
