Oran – Ahead of the 21st edition of the African Nations Championship for Women’s Youth Under-17, scheduled from September 14 to 21, 2025, in Oran, the African Handball Confederation (CAHB) has unveiled the complete match program for the competition, which will feature 11 teams, including host Algeria, as reported by aps.dz on September 10, 2025.
This important sporting event, bringing together teams from across Africa, promises intense and exciting matches.
Algeria’s national team will compete in Group B alongside Egypt, Guinea, Burkina Faso, and Zambia. Group A consists of Angola, Tunisia, Nigeria, Benin, Kenya, and Madagascar.
The matches will be held at the Miloud Hadefi Multipurpose Sports Hall and the Hamou Boutlilis Sports Palace.
According to the tournament rules, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals. The remaining teams will play placement matches.
In addition to continental glory, the top four teams will represent Africa at the 2026 Women’s Youth World Handball Championship, with the host country yet to be determined.
