Algiers, September 28, 2025 – The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport announced on Sunday the opening of 830 new financial positions for the year 2025, covering several ranks within the common corps, as well as architects and engineers specialized in housing and urban planning. This measure comes as part of the implementation of the seven newly created administrative districts in the High Plateaus.
According to the ministry’s statement, the new administrative districts include Aflou, Barika, Ksar Chellala, Messaad, Ain Oussera, Boussaada, and El Bayadh Sidi Sheikh. Recruitment will be carried out through competitions based on academic qualifications, ensuring opportunities for professionals in architecture, housing, and urban development.
Candidacy for these positions is reserved for residents of municipalities belonging to the concerned administrative districts. Applicants are required to submit their files at the local administration directorates of the wilayas overseeing these districts, namely Laghouat, Batna, Tiaret, Djelfa, M’sila, and El Bayadh. The ministry further specified that the registration period is set at 15 days starting from Sunday, September 28, 2025.
This recruitment campaign marks a significant step in the government’s policy of decentralization and balanced regional development, aimed at reinforcing administrative capacities in the High Plateaus and improving public service delivery.
The creation of these new districts confirms Algeria’s determination to bring state services closer to citizens, promote local governance, and stimulate socio-economic growth in strategic regions that play a pivotal role in national development.
