Gaza chahid Toll Rises to 66,005 Martyrs, Majority Women and Children

Gaza, September 28, 2025 – The death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 66,005 martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children, alongside 168,162 injured, according to figures released by Palestinian health authorities on Sunday.

The latest update revealed that in the past 24 hours alone, Gaza hospitals received 79 martyrs and 379 wounded. Since March 18, when the occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement, an additional 13,137 martyrs and 56,121 injuries have been recorded.

Among the victims are those killed while attempting to secure humanitarian aid. In the last 24 hours, 6 martyrs and 66 injured were reported in such incidents, bringing the total number of “bread martyrs” to 2,566 dead and more than 18,769 injured.

Authorities warned that many victims remain trapped under rubble and scattered on the streets, unreachable due to the relentless bombardment and the inability of ambulance and civil defense teams to access certain areas.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate sharply as the occupation blocks the entry of desperately needed aid, while simultaneously intensifying airstrikes on residential neighborhoods, medical facilities, and even the makeshift tents of displaced families.

This tragic toll underscores the scale of the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people, in flagrant violation of international law and human rights conventions.
