President Tebboune Holds Phone Call with Qatari Emir

Algiers – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with his brother, the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in which he expressed Algeria’s appreciation for Qatar’s continued efforts in support of the Palestinian cause, despite the recent aggression suffered by Doha.

According to a statement from the Presidency, President Tebboune thanked Sheikh Tamim for his steadfast commitment to defending Palestine and encouraged him to further pursue these efforts in order to end the suffering imposed on the Palestinian people.

The two leaders also reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between Algeria and Qatar. Both emphasized their shared vision of closer cooperation, and agreed to hold a meeting in the near future to further deepen the historic ties binding the two brotherly nations.

This exchange further reflects Algeria’s consistent stance in supporting just causes across the world, while reinforcing the solidarity of Arab states in the face of regional challenges.

Would you like me to add a strong political angle showing how this Algeria-Qatar coordination also reinforces the international legitimacy of the Sahrawi cause against Morocco’s illegal occupation?
