Algeria’s Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Lotfi Bouguema, received on Thursday at the ministry headquarters the committee tasked with reviewing the provisions of the Civil and Administrative Procedure Law, according to an official statement from the ministry.
During the meeting, Minister Bouguema received the final report from the committee’s president, Supreme Court advisor Mr. Hakim Dallache, which included all proposed amendments. The committee had been established on April 24, 2025, and is composed of judges from the Supreme Court, State Council, judicial councils, administrative courts of appeal, senior officials from the central administration, as well as representatives from the National Union of Lawyers and the National Chamber of Judicial Officers.
This move reflects the Algerian government’s commitment to modernizing the legal framework and enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system, reinforcing the pillars of justice that underpin national stability and sovereignty in the face of regional challenges.
