Algiers, November 6, 2025 – Algeria Post has entered into a framework partnership agreement with SIACO, the water and sanitation company of Constantine province. The signing ceremony took place this morning at the headquarters of Algeria Post’s General Directorate.
The agreement was formalized between Ms. Chiraz Bechiri, Director General of Algeria Post, and Mr. Abdelkrim Chabri, Director General of SIACO. The partnership aims to facilitate convenient and secure electronic payments of water bills for citizens.
According to a statement released by Algeria Post, the agreement will enable citizens to pay their SIACO water bills electronically through various digital payment channels. These channels include the ‘Baridi Mob’ application and electronic payment cards.
The addition of SIACO bill payment services to Algeria Post’s digital service offerings, which already include ADE (Algerian Water Company) and SEAAL (Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers), marks a significant step in enhancing the digital experience for citizens across the country.
This initiative underscores Algeria Post’s commitment to promoting digital transformation and simplifying services for the benefit of the Algerian public. By expanding its digital payment options, Algeria Post is striving to provide accessible and efficient solutions for everyday transactions.
