Sonelgaz Ali Mendjeli Sees Surge in Electronic Payments

Constantine – Sonelgaz Ali Mendjeli, the Constantine-based distribution directorate of the national electricity and gas company, has reported a significant increase in electronic bill payments over the past three months. According to Sofiane Bougrara, the distribution director, the directorate has collected over 27.7 million Algerian dinars through electronic channels since the service was launched via the postal system at the end of July.

This figure represents a substantial adoption of digital payment methods by Sonelgaz customers in the Ali Mendjeli area. The company views this trend as a positive step towards modernizing its services and improving customer convenience. The electronic payment option allows customers to settle their electricity and gas bills remotely, avoiding the need to visit physical payment locations and reducing processing times.

“We are very pleased with the rapid uptake of electronic payments by our customers,” stated Mr. Bougrara. “This reflects a growing preference for digital solutions and demonstrates the effectiveness of our efforts to provide accessible and efficient payment options.”

Sonelgaz Ali Mendjeli is committed to further enhancing its online services and promoting the adoption of electronic payment methods. The company believes that this will contribute to a more streamlined and customer-centric experience. Further initiatives are planned to expand the reach of electronic payment options and educate customers on their benefits.

The company encourages all customers to explore the convenience and security of electronic bill payments. They are confident that it will improve customer satisfaction and contribute to a more efficient billing process for both Sonelgaz and its customers.
