Constantine, Algeria – October 10, 2025 – Ooredoo Algeria collaborated with Algérie Poste in organizing the 21st edition of the National Mail Carrier Race, held in Constantine on October 9th. The event commemorated World Post Day.
According to a statement released by Ooredoo Algeria, the race, themed “Local Service, Global Reach,” was inaugurated by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, and the Director-General of Algérie Poste, Chiraz Bachiri.
This year’s edition saw the participation of over 150 mail carriers from across Algeria, representing various categories including veterans, current employees, men, and women. The race took place between the Constantine Post Office and the Zenith Hall.
The National Mail Carrier Race aims to highlight the crucial role mail carriers play daily in delivering mail and contributing to social cohesion, especially in the context of digital transformation.
