Gaza City – Despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement, reports indicate that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continue to face dire circumstances, with an average of eight individuals killed daily. Concerns are mounting over the humanitarian situation, with accusations leveled against Israel regarding the implementation of the ceasefire.
Reports suggest that the average number of aid trucks entering Gaza daily remains significantly below the agreed-upon amount, hindering reconstruction efforts and exacerbating the already critical living conditions. Restrictions on movement and access to medical care are also reportedly ongoing, further impacting the population.
According to the latest data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed or injured due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. The Ministry has announced that the total number of Palestinian fatalities since the start of the conflict has reached a staggering number, with tens of thousands more injured.
There are thousands of Palestinians still missing, believed to be either trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings or with their fate unknown. Efforts to recover bodies are reportedly hampered by restrictions on the entry of heavy machinery needed to clear the debris.
DZWatch continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as they become available.
