His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei has reaffirmed the deep importance Brunei places on its relationship with Algeria. In a message congratulating President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the occasion of Algeria’s Revolution Day, the Sultan highlighted the enduring friendship between the two nations.
Sultan Bolkiah stated that Brunei Darussalam highly values its close and fraternal ties with Algeria. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, a milestone celebrated by both nations.
“Brunei Darussalam places great importance on its close fraternal relations with Algeria,” the Sultan conveyed in his message. He further expressed his anticipation for strengthening this valuable cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral fronts. The Sultan specifically mentioned the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations as key platforms for enhanced collaboration.
The Sultan concluded his message by extending his best wishes for the health and well-being of President Tebboune and for the continued peace and prosperity of the Algerian people.
