Algiers, Algeria – SETRAM, the company responsible for operating and maintaining the Algiers tramway lines, has announced a revised schedule for the capital’s tramway system. The new timetable came into effect today, Tuesday.
According to SETRAM, the first tram from the Les Anassers station now departs at 05:30, with the last tram leaving at 22:20. From the Dergana station, the first tram also departs at 05:30, while the final tram leaves at 22:00. The first tram from the Hai El Mandarines station is scheduled to depart at 05:30.
These adjusted times aim to optimize passenger flow and improve the overall commuting experience for residents of Algiers. SETRAM has stated that the frequency of trams will vary between 4 and 8 minutes, ensuring a consistent and reliable service throughout the day. This frequency is designed to accommodate peak hours and minimize waiting times for passengers across the network.
The updated schedule reflects SETRAM’s commitment to providing efficient and accessible public transportation within the capital.
