Director General Badawi Meets with INTERPOL Delegation

Algiers – Director General of National Security, Mr. Ali Badawi, received a delegation of experts from the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) earlier today, according to a statement released by the General Directorate of National Security.

The meeting, held in Algiers, focused on exploring avenues for strengthening the operational and technical capabilities of national security services across various fields. Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in combating transnational crime, including terrorism, cybercrime, and organized crime.

“This meeting underscores our commitment to working closely with international partners, such as INTERPOL, to address the evolving security challenges we face,” stated a spokesperson for the General Directorate. “By leveraging INTERPOL’s expertise and resources, we can further enhance our ability to protect citizens and maintain national security.”
